Ariston House Christmas Break Up

So pleased to say the rain held off and we were able to have a very successful Ariston House Christmas party once again.

This has been a regular item on our fundraising calendar for many years now and we always seem to have some fun while we are kept very busy.

Dan received a call from Ariston House on Thursday to say how pleased they were with the outcome, and “where do we purchase out hamburgers”, because they are delicious.

All the “party guests” enjoyed the day, and the beautifully decorated Christmas muffins looked so good with the red and green icing, thanks to the decorating elf, Aileen, great job! they went down a treat with the children.

Christmas Dinner

Our club Christmas dinner at the Sawyers Arms Tavern was a lovely evening, thank you to all for joining us and getting into the Christmas spirit with Judy Beasley’s KK game.

Whoever would have thought, sox were so coveted. I lost count of how many guys chose to “pinch” those sox from the pervious owner. Can anyone remember who the winner of the sox was?

I have a Christmas prize for the first person to tell me who’s feet these are.

The KK was another first for Susan Paulley, and husband JT, but there have been many Aussie firsts over 2022, after arriving just 12 months ago from the USA with children Myles, Charlotte, and joining Rotary.

I believe the Myer Windows were on the agenda last week, hope the family enjoyed this tradition.

Plus, Brian didn’t need Judy B negative comment fine jar on the night as he is always happy to get the Darrell Lea Chocolates.

Well done BB.
