Social night at Wine Justice in Belmont,

6th Nov. was a social night at Wine Justice in Belmont, opposite Aldi in High St. It was an interesting spot with a wall of wines on display and the 1st glass of bubbles/wine was free. Peter Hynes and bar assistants then ran around coercing us into buying more of the liquid refreshments to keep the owner happy. All members were asked to BYO plate of supper to share and we had a delicious variety of savoury and sweet foods. John S has volunteered as chief sandwich maker in future; they were fresh, delicious and a delight to the senses. There were prizes for best dressed male and female, trackside. Jo organised a couple of activities to keep us on our toes and all proceeds from the night went to Shelterbox.
