Social Evening

In lieu of the annual cricket match and BBQ with Torquay Rotary Club, it was decided to change the format to a social evening/games night. A fun evening of Trivia questions, toss the coin and other social activities was enjoyed by all who attended. Bayside cooked the BBQ and provided an interesting array of salads, followed by Torquay’s yummy desserts. Unfortunately the numbers were down with only 12 Bayside members able to attend, but with 20 members from Torquay and 6 Fire Brigade members from Freshwater Creek, a night of friendship and frivolity ensued. A cheque for $2000 was presented to the Fire Brigade from Bayside Rotary; a very welcome addition to funds especially during the peak fire danger period we are presently experiencing.
