We – The Geelong Rotary Environment group, are undertaking 17 Nature strip transformations for some rotary members, including our own Telsa and other members of the community.
This initiative is being undertaken in conjunction with the City of Greater Geelong.

Rotarians involved are Barb Sheehan, Warren Norton, Des Graham and Barry Cooper. Also Linda Carr – Friend of Rotary.
Quite a bit of hands on work with grass removal/killing, Mulch delivery and spreading, sign installation and general administration for the project.
It is all coming along nicely and we will be having a tour of the Gardens in Late July and again in late spring so I will keep you updated on those events.
A big thanks to Andrea, Telsa and Jo for helping out with mulching last week.
• All homeowners have received:
o Removal of grass using Spray
o Mulch for garden site
o bag of native potting mix
o GenU plant voucher for 30 plants
o sign explaining what's happening
I have designed the sign which goes into the gardens, so people know what is going on.
