We had a great Guest Speaker night at the Navy Club on Tuesday, with Dr Gemma Clarke from CSIRO telling us all about her work in Australia’s Biosecurity field.

 

Such important work to maintain our food supply and the health of our animals and people.

 

We also heard about the current situation with Bird Flu and the local egg shortage.

 

Gemma could have answered questions all night, but we did have a “cheese and wine” night to indulge in.
