Community: Literacy trolley to be delivered to South Geelong PS by Daryl Webb at the 3pm assembly on Friday 16th Nov. We have agreed to ‘adopt’ a family of 5 for the Xmas gift giving; a form will circulate at next meeting. Literacy Awards for Graduation Ceremonies: letters to be sent this week.
Fundraising & fellowship: 4 BBQ’s completed recently, list of future venues sent to members. Ford Show & Shine (Fri.week): to cook only, Ford provides food & collects money. Volunteers: Jane, Judy, Brian, Jo, Russell to be at Ford factory 9.30-1.30pm. Friday 7th Dec. CoGG Xmas party. No word from Diversitat re their Xmas event. 21st Dec Peter Hynes/Robin’s workplace Xmas function, request for catering assistance. 23rd Dec Woolworth’s Torquay BBQ. Rotary cakes, puddings, shortbread: Peter Richmond will circulate an order form.

New Generations: East Geelong not interested in sharing an inbound Exchange student hosting; Kaye to investigate interest from other Geelong clubs.

David to investigate Matching Grant opportunities to share with a club as quite a laborious job. Dan to look for prospects in Soloman Islands for this project. Telsa to ask Janette re opportunities in outback Australia.
