Stewart spoke to the meeting as follows:
 Throughout the region DG’s and ADG’s have been endeavouring to raise the profile of Rotary in the broader community.
 In Geelong, 6 months of ROTARY MATTERS column in Geelong Advertiser has finished so now concentrating on ROTARY RADIO 94.7FM PULSE so public can learn more and Rotarians right across district 9780 are aware of what we’re doing. 400 podcast downloads, which is significant from PR perspective. 24th October is World Polio Day and PDG Chris Sims will address the public. There will also be an interview with Katrina, who’s ‘riding for polio’. Tune in for an interesting interview!
 W.H.O. are fixing the landline from Nigeria across several countries to Geelong, so we’ll be able to hear an interview with Jenny Norton, volunteer for polio immunisation from 12-1pm next Tuesday on the Pulse, or download from the website later.
